Arts Festival

In 2023, after a lapse of a decade, the Arts Commission revived the New Milford Arts Festival. The next Arts Festival is scheduled for June 28, 2025. About the Festival

The juried festival features over 50 fine artists and artisans, as well as performances by local dance studios, music schools, and theater programs. Painting, drawing, mixed media, pottery, fine jewelry, woodworking, and fiber arts are among the fine and functional arts displayed on the historic New Milford Green. The Arts Festival is free and draws a large summer crowd to view and purchase art directly from the artists. Attendees can also visit the many beautiful shops and restaurants surrounding our Green. Along with the artists and artisans, the event has featured performances by students from Studio D dance studio, Fineline Performing Arts Studio, Bearclaw’s Academy of Music, TheatreWorks Kids, and the renowned modern dance company Pilobolus. It’s a fun day on the Green, with something for everyone.
