VCA Founders Receive DaVinci Award

Jayson Roberts and Sharon Kaufman of the Village Center for the Arts (VCA) received the DaVinci award from mayor Pete Bass on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at a ceremony in Town Hall. Since 2000, the Jayson and Sharon have involved the community in the arts. The New Milford Commission on the Arts nominated the duo for the award.

VCA’s mission is to provide a nurturing environment for artistic creativity and development through educational fine art programs and events for all ages.

Walter Bayer and Sean Quigg also received the award for their service to the community.
